• The colored bar at the top is 152.4mm W x 3.175mm high (not including the bleed). It is centered on the page leaving 12.7mm of white space on either side, It prints using the second PMS color.
  
• The type below the bar is 16pt, centered, Adobe ITC Garamond Light Italic. Its baseline is 6.35mm below the colored bar.
  
• The animal and the title type should be the same proportional dimensions as they are on the original cover, leaving 12.7mm of white space on either side.
  
• The O'REILLY® logo is 12.7mm from the left edge. Its baseline is 12.7mm from the bottom. Your logo should appear directly above the O'REILLY® logo, 12.7mm from the left edge, and should be the same proportional dimensions as the O'REILLY® logo.
  
• The author's name(s) is 12pt, flush right, Adobe ITC Garamond Italic. Its baseline is 12.7mm from the right trim.
• Leave 12.7mm of white space at the bottom of the front cover.

• The spine prints using the second PMS color, and bleeds off the top and bottom trim.
• The black box that bleeds off the top of the spine is 31.75mm high (not including the bleed), and is the same width as the spine. Inside this box is a portion of the cover animal (reduced to fit), leaving 3.175mm of black space on either side.
• The title type on the spine starts 6.35mm from the bottom of the top black box. It is centered horizontally on the spine, and should be as large as will comfortably fit in the area.

• The author's name(s) is 12pt Adobe ITC Garamond Book, flush right, and is 4.762mm from the top of the black box at the bottom of the spine. Like the title type, the author's name(s) should be centered horizontally on the spine.

• The black box that bleeds off the bottom of the spine is 22.225mm high (not including the bleed), and is the same width as the spine.

• The O'REILLY® logo is centered in the black box, and is as wide as the width of the spine will allow (no larger than 25.4mm), leaving 3.175mm of black space on either side. If the spine is exceptionally narrow (smaller than 6.35mm), the O'REILLY® logo should be turned 90 degrees counterclockwise, and centered horizontally in the black box. Your logo should appear on the spine directly above the O'REILLY® logo, and should be the same proportional dimensions as the O'REILLY® logo.

• The baseline of the O'REILLY® logo is 15.346mm from the top trim, and is centered horizontally. It is 32mm wide (not including the ® mark).
• The baseline of the 6 pt colored rule below the O'REILLY® logo is 19.05mm from the top trim. It is centered on the page, leaving 12.7mm of white space on either side. It prints using the second PMS color.

• The title type below the colored rule is 20pt Adobe ITC Garamond Book, and its baseline is 26.723mm from the top trim. It is flush left, leaving 12.7mm of white space on either side.

• Inside the box below the title type is a portion of the cover animal (try to match the spine animal treatment). The top of the box is 31.75mm from the top trim, and it is flush left, 12.7mm from the left trim. There is a 0.5pt black rule around the box, which is approximately 19.406mm wide x 18.263mm high. The bottom of the box should be aligned to the baseline of the nearest line of back cover copy.

• The back cover copy is Adobe ITC Garamond 11/14, with 6pts between paragraphs. It begins 31.75mm from the top trim, and 12.7mm from the left trim and right edge. The back cover copy flows around the right edge of the graphic with a 6pt offset.

• Your logo should appear 12.7mm from the left edge. Its baseline is 12.7mm from the bottom. It should be the same proportional dimensions as the O'REILLY® logo.

• Leave 12.7mm of white space at the bottom of the back cover.
