Trade Book Cover Guidelines

Thank you for translating an O'Reilly trade book. Please use the following guidelines when securing approval for your cover design.

If you would like to use the original cover design

Unless we have secured worldwide image usage rights for the artwork on the cover, you must contact the photographer or stock image agency to purchase rights to use the image in your country. Click on the image below of the trade book you are translating to find out if you need to buy additional image rights.

Once you have secured image usage rights, please email notification to cindyw@oreilly.com. When you have completed translating the cover, please submit it to intl_covereq@oreilly.com for review and approval.

If you would like to use your own cover design

Please submit the cover design to intl_covereq@oreilly.com. We will review your design to ensure proper logo placement and appropriate image usage.
